PLEYTO, Monterey County — October 29, 2026. Horse owners planning a group stay near Lake San Antonio have a separate camping option from the lake’s ordinary shoreline campsites. Monterey County publishes a detailed price list for the Los Robles Equestrian Camp at the lake’s North Shore, where camping, corrals and shared group facilities can be arranged for different activities.
What does the official rate table say?
The county’s posted rates list corrals at $5; basic campsites without utilities at $45 per day; one partial-hookup campsite at $50; and three full-hookup campsites at $55 each. Each listed campsite has a maximum occupancy of eight people. The table also lists a kitchen rental at $105, BBQ and tables at $85, the kitchen/BBQ/tables combination at $175, and an arena package—including the kitchen, BBQ, tables and corrals—at $210. For each of the main building rentals, the county shows a separate $200 cleaning/damage deposit, making the arena package’s posted total $410 when that deposit is included.
Are campsite prices the entire cost?
Not necessarily. The published figures are facility rental prices; the park’s broader admission rules, applicable taxes, possible transaction charges and reservation conditions should be checked before payment. The county differentiates reserved Los Robles facilities from other first-come, first-served North Shore campsites. A listed campsite does not establish real-time availability for a specific date.
Who should make arrangements?
Visitors organizing an equestrian group or arena activity should contact Monterey County Parks at (831) 755-4895 to confirm current prices, whether the arena and corrals are open, reservation requirements, horse-related conditions and any fire restrictions. The North Shore park entrance is listed at 2091 New Pleyto Road, Bradley, CA 93426.
Keep lake entry separate from horse camping
For people also bringing a boat, Lake San Antonio has its own mandatory aquatic-invasive-species inspection process. An equestrian facility reservation is not a vessel inspection certificate. For trail use and horses, confirm local access and current county regulations rather than assuming every trail is open.
